And who is going to be hurt by this? Do you think the market for iPhones and
iPods will show any damage by NBC's move (That is where Apple makes her
money) Let's say NBC manages to make a go of distributing her content and
makes more money with higher fee's for said. Does Apple see a problem and
simply add the format that NBC is using to her iPods and iPhones via a firmware
upgrade and presto done. But that in and of it'self is a BIG IF. NBC must make a
go of it or look real bad and in the end come back to Apple tail firmly planted
between legs. While all Apple has to do is provide the ability to use whatever
format NBC uses to her future and existing products a simple "upgrade" via Apple
Updates. Apple really can't loose.....it's all about the iPods and iPhones and if the
trend continues and the sales of these products continues as well as Apple's
computer market share increases well then NBC and others are under increasing
pressure by consumers to bend....:P
