I think $1.99 per show is too high for a series
NBC and other broadcasters is out of it if they want to charge 1.99 per series when you can Tivo or DVR it. And even if you don't you can generally get a repeat or DVD release with extras after a few months. And a season is generally $40-$50 or around $2-$2.50 per show.

NBC and other broadcasters should tell Apple that they can give away free the one WITH the national commercials they already have contracted for, and that they want the count of sales so that they can show how well the advertisers are represented. If they had a per play count from Apple (collected together, not by user) then I wouldn't mind.

You can have the no commercial one for about a higher prices and let the consumer decide.
