"NBC never said that it would pull out of iTunes, but only that it was dissatisfied with the financial terms Apple offered."

Duhhh... Apple never gives in on price. Apple products always remain in a fixed price, never on any significant sale. Friends who want to buy a Mac tell me they're watching the sunday flyers to see when it goes on sale. I tell them, forget it. Mac prices NEVER go down.

And consumers who rally around Steve Jobs for so-called protecting them from media's pricing games are aren't too bright. A) When is Jobs going to protect them from his own pricing game? and B) You're going to put all your trust in one person to fend for your consumerism???

Frankly, I like going to the store, seeing various products at various prices and deciding for myself which is the better value. If consumers aren't going to like a particular media company's pricing scheme, they'll not buy it. What ever happened to the good old fashioned American philosophy of let the market dictate the price? A single person shouldn't be dictating for us all. That's all I gots to say.
