Shades of Wagner
The Ring and all of Wagner's works were banned even in the USA (by public outrage) owing to Hitler taking a liking to them. Wgner was banned from his homeland for quite sometime because he supported anarchists. The German people got over all of that and will get over this as well.

My sense is that Germany - currently the economic engine of Europe - is fighting a battle it must lose quickly for the good of its citizens. That is the battle of Americanization.

We saw glimmers of desperation with SAP recently and its Californa co-president's resignation, and now we see that the the great battle since WWII is being won with Germany's recent change of heart regarding immigration. (they now allow H1-Bs)

Germany will either adopt a more open and free society via Web 2.0 (characterized by You Tube) or stop being relevant. We in the USA hope to help. Do not forget that we still have bases in your country. The US occupies Germany for the same reason it occupies Iraq - the good of all humanity.
