I'll be the first to agree that the MPAA is a bunch of money-grubbing, slimy, bastards that care about nothing but money, and don't even care about the quality of what they sell, just the money generated.

But having said that, if a motion picture studio produces a movie, they have the right to sell it. They further have the right to seek damages that infringe upon that right to sell it (ie. by giving away or selling copies illegally).

For all of you that say "But TorrentSpy wasn't JUST listing links to movies," gimme a break. Oh, sure, they ALSO list software and movies to illegally download, too!! Don't forget those!

I think the only thing being legally shared on those sites is amateur porn, and don't confuse that with the porn being ILLEGALLY shared on those sites. And, depending on obscenity laws in your locate, even the amateur porn might be illegal.

Point being, TorrentSpy's crime is "aiding and abetting" in the illegal copying and distribution of copywritten works. Period.

And all you crybabies whining about the MPAA should try working for a living...and having someone steal YOUR work without compensating you, because that's what YOU are doing when you illegally download music, movies, software, etc. You're stealing. Deal with it.

Shut 'em down!!
