Unfortunately
I've long felt that the victim of a crime should have the ability to initiate a criminal prosecution if there is sufficient evidence and the public prosecutor won't. This goes back to my days as a convenience store clerk and seeing several beer runs and assaults without the police doing a thing (I was specifically told that the DA's office didn't bother with those sorts of cases). It's the only way I can think of to insure that the law is enforced consistently, instead of at the whim of the police and public prosecutors.

Though Wallace is no longer actively engaged in e-mail spam, he is the acknowledged founder of the "industry" and has been engaged in any number of other disreputable uses of the Internet since his "retirement". He should be shown no mercy whatever.
