That's actually moderately valid - under certain conditions conditions, principally being that whoever downloads the music cannot at the time purchase the music and later intends to. This applies to financial situations and leaked albums. People who just say "I wouldn't pay for music so it doesn't matter" are jerks and idiots - if it's worth getting at all, it's worth paying for.
