Then think Google, You Tube, SUN. Now remember Microsoft. The US is coming out of what the EU is heading into. In other words pay attention in your country. In ours, we figured it out and actually have done things that will ensure our economic vitality and well being. We are fighting and winning a battle that is over 300 years old. We are actually addressing an issue as great as slavery was and an issue that is the reason we broke off from England.
The issue when a colony and the issue now is influence peddling by monopolists. Back then it was the East India Trading Company which believed they had purchased a monopoly on the sale of tea. The colonists discovered that they could get tea from the Dutch less expensively and did so. The monopoly then influence peddled the King of England to eliminate a tax which had been applied to tea sales. They passed that savings on plus more to the customers in the colonies so that the "smugglers" would be put out of business.
Everything about our country that is on paper - the constitution, the anti-trust laws, the bill of rights, our property laws, revolves around that Boston Tea Party and parties like it which yes were about taxation but everyone knew at the time was really about influence peddling to government.
Today, men trained in Europe and at schools that are more European in nature like Harvard and Yale who are interested in business come away with notions that forget what our country is all about.
Our country is about recognizing that government officials are corruptible, that they will behave traitorously, and that otherwise honest officials will be made not so if we allow business interests to bribe and threaten them and their families. Al Quaida is a business, perhaps not so unlike Microsoft. Both seek to corrupt the government for business advancing purpose. You can understand why.
When non US citizens who live in their home lands purchase shares in Microsoft, they are not thinking that they should pay for the roads and bridges which 40,000 of the Microsoft employees use to get to work. So they pressure executives to seek and take tax breaks. They claim this is a fiduciary duty to the shareholders and they do not care if Microsoft Officers grow men with hearts of darkness like Abramof to do that duty. Some of these shareholders are barbarians.
The twin children of barbarism are slavery and polygamy. We are talking specifically about Al Quaida of Saudia Arabia now. The war on terror is a war on multi-national corporations. You fools in the EU are abandoning the battle. You fools in EU will see your Appeals Court let Microsoft off. You fools in EU will see your society decline, the EU melt in value, and you will see America Rise to dominate.
Or.. join us and speek out. Start with the Microsoft antitrust battle, make Brad Smith out as the villain. This was where the US started. It can be your new beginning as well.
