- What about Teens harassing?

I cannot tell you how many times I Have had teenage girls ask me to be their friend on myspace, or try to chat me up online.
Maybe teenage girls need to quit trying to find someone to save them, to give them handouts, and make their own way in the world.
And maybe your definition of what people "have in common" is too narrow. If the only things you ever talk about are what clothes you're buying, what's going on at school, then yeah, older people wouldn't know about that. However, I have spoken with many, many younger people who have a much broader view of life than that.
This Fear Mongering makes me sick. Everyone tries to make everyone afraid, to separate us, to keep us from connecting, to keep us under control. People are just people, no matter what age they are. It is NOT okay for 16 year old guys to force themselves on 16 year old girls, and it is NOT okay for 50 year old guys to force themselves on 16 year old girls and it is NOT okay for 16 year old girls to screw 50 year old guys to get a car, or money, or feel pretty, or whatever.
