Don't forget the teachers...
Most of the "old people" that I've seen on facebook are faculty/staff at universities. They use facebook to keep in touch with students. I'd be sure to check all the facts before assuming any person 10+ years older than you registered on a social networking site is there to be creepy or invasive.
