Nonsense ...

If you think a product costs too much, don't buy it and the price will come down. Corporations have power because we grant them power with our dollars. Products cost a lot because most people are willing to pay a lot.

The recording industry has seen a drop in sales that they attribute to piracy but if the price came down, they would sell more legal copies. They will figure it out sooner or later.

Simple tax laws with lower rates bring in more taxes because simpler tax laws close loopholes. People are willing to pay more if they believe they are being treated fairly.

Perception is more important than reality but none of this justifies stealing.
