blame game

Don't forget to blame Apple and its now ubiquitous iPod. For $350 now (and thats MSRP) I can get a music player capable of storing TWENTY THOUSAND songs. Apple will kindly sell me them all at a dollar a piece, making the iPod become, effectively, my $20,350 jukebox. Assuming I'd rather buy CDs, we'll say a CD runs $20 and holds an average of 15 songs; that means the jukebox is now about 27017. Who exactly can afford to fill their iPod without pirating?


Note: I use the iPod as an example for two main reasons: A) I hate apple, I'm the first to admit it B) Joe consumer calls all mp3/da players iPods.
