You sir, are correct!
No, not surprised... and you are right about the artists needing to take responsibility as well, I thought your comments were well thought out. But in a country that supposedly opposes overseas sweet shops where kids stitch overpriced basketball shoes together, and has a minimum wage law to prevent people being taken advantage of, you would think our political process would see the error of upholding the RIAA's position and quit the BS with copyright law. After all, when was the last time that you saw a broke record exec strung out and on the street? ( minus Shug Night, of course! ) People pay to hear the ARTIST'S music, not the lawyer's closing arguments; and that is where I believe the money should go. I'll start buying CD's again when it does.
