While I do not countenance robot scraping, there is a case for sites that refer to content related to that site's topic.

Provided:

. the source is clearly identified,
. a link to the original content is provided,
. all verbatim content is clearly identified in quotation marks, and
- the whole post is not reproduced

there is no breach of copyright.

It is all about information-sharing and attribution.

A blog will only succeed if it is read, and the more incoming links you have the more readers you will have. What goes around comes around.

Life is short, so don't waste time chasing posts in the blogosphere..
