- Most influential, yeah right.
- Most widely used I can believe. How was IE influential? It was sure not innovative. It hasn't lead the user space in new features. It was most used because it was part of Win95. That and the fact that it has been in every other MS OS is the only reason it has gained the numbers it has for users. I think FireFox is far more influential. It gives the user the ability to extend it easily but even without that, FF has far more features than IE and is a great testing tool. FF might be behind in users but IE is always playing catch up with features. Well, ok. IE influenced me to try FF and I haven't looked back since.
