Uh, no, this is not true. A public company executive cannot disclose ANY information selectively. Nor can he be secretly involved in actions which benefit him. Why? It is called fairness to shareholders, especially your own.

The man was a fool to post on any message board. It would be a good idea if ALL managers did NOT bother to read the crap on these boards, as most all posters on the public company msg boards are talking out their backsides and need to get a life.

No restrictions on a U.S. Citizen? Wow, you must have been a good friend of old Joe Kennedy, market manipulator and bootlegger! Yes, there are rules. Yes, they are to protect even the big boys. Are there too many? Sure, but those are the rules and even before Enron, this idiot of a CEO would have been in big trouble for what he did.

You don't have to like the laws. You only have to obey them.
