Big Fish vs little autorny Minow's

Minow is just so wrong. A CEO who is also a US citizen has the right and sometimes duty to publish anonymously when that posting does not involve harassment. That is how the founders of the USA did things and of course they were CEOs of companies. Publishing anonymously regarding things you are intimately knowledgeable of or things you wish to become knowledgeable of is how our society identifies wrong doers and becomes capable of making quality decisions. It is how the country eliminated slavery, a practice that was considered moral at one time. It is how the country will ensure that our food supply is not tainted.

Those who exposed the anonymous poster are the wrong doers here and Minow is the queen.

Her saying that "the SEC would likely be looking at whether Mackey broke any disclosure rules in his postings and at whether his comments constituted an attempt to manipulate the share prices of Whole Foods and Wild Oats." is worth worrying about.

Stock pumping is against SEC rules and they could desist Whole Foods. But again when a person takes on the duties of an officer at a public or private organization there are no implied limitations on his/her rights as a US citizen.

Let minnows swim out of country. There kind are not welcome in this great country where every citizen is capable of being a Big Fish because there voices are not silent.
