And, the network IS getting more reliable every day, and enterprises ARE running mission critical applications that ONLY work when there is a network connection. Saleforce.com is NOT a mirage.

You sound like the people that said the electrical grid would NEVER be reliable enough and that they would ALWAYS have a generator on premises.
