I thougth Youtube was established as a bad egg
Who in their right mind was going to say that Google didn't know better. They just bought the best competitor to their own technology and made it their own.

Viacom was just waiting to attack when some one did snatch up Youtube. I would have felt better if this was Microsoft taking the hit and not Google.
