i work in china as esl teacher and i know first hand how they teach her most time in any schools talking about sex of any kind is forbidden (but the kids all ask about it)The gov here do need to adjust how they deal witht hte situation and do need to have sex education classes her like they do in some western countries.
The young people don't usually have 1st boy/girlfriend until at least 22yrs old on average.there parents frown on them having any relationship until they reach university (22yrs approx,even then they think it is distracting for there son/daughter to have boy/girlfriend.
Blaming the internet isn't the solution,as it is seen on tv and magazines and other things here too. They need to re-adjust how they teach these things here in china
The kids here are smarter than goverment realise and as others have said they will try most new things without realising the concequences. Talikng about homosexuality here is taboo also but like everyone else they are curious about it and how the western people handle this kind o f relationships.
