The bigger problem here...
...is that the Chinese government might use this as another excuse to censor the internet even more.

They're not only conservative, but they simply repress opinions deviating from the government's doctrine.

Whether "American teens" drop their trousers more readily is immaterial. If they're well informed about what they're doing (through their parents' tutelage) - use protection, abstain from having sex, etc - the index of teen pregnancy goes down. The key is being open about it, because the more the parents, government, or whoever hide the more the kids will be forced to find out on their own. Their curiosity won't diminish. It's part of growing up. Trying to cover the Sun with your hand doesn't do jack.
