-iPhone syncs with your PC or Mac and I suppose you have a back-up of you phone
numbers, or do you memorize them incase you loose your phone?
So, if you would get iPhone 2, you just plug it into your PC and all your number are
there.

-You can set a password for your iPhone, so nobody can access your information
when they exchange your battery... just like the iPod.
