I think that Firefox will be fine

In the general consumer area I would guess that a lot of users moved
because their PC tech friends told them to in order to avoid the
battles with IE. They are now happy and won't switch simply because
Apple will let them have Safari for free. Same goes for those that will
switch to Firefox in the future. Even a lot of Mac users have moved to
Firefox, a pretty good indication that it's a good product with a good
future.

Safari for Windows is, I believe, focused on the future iPhone
customer and that is the main market it will move into. I'm looking
for Apple to continue to add features to the iPhone and they will be
dependent on Safari to some degree.

There will be some iPod users that give it a try simply because they
like iTunes design. Some will stay with it and some will go back to IE,
Firefox or whatever they are currently using.

It's simply another option for most people and they will end up suing
the option they prefer. I don't see that as a threat to Firefox at all.
