Could he be a Christian?
Of course he could be a Christian!

If you accept the idea that a Christian is simply a person who has accepted JC as his personal savio(u)r... then he could be as corrupt as could be and still be a Christian. In fact, you could even say he's a "good" Christian if he tries to spread this "good news" to others.

THAT is why the word Christian has absolutely no moral connotation when one speaks of "fundamentalist" Christians. Their belief is that morality is, at the very bottom line, irrelevant to the issue of "salvation".

"Good Christians" may be embarrassed by jerks like Casey, but they will not deny that he will get to heaven, and that all the good people who haven't been "saved" will go to a burning hell.

Kinda weird. No, not "kinda"... it's weird and anti-moral.
