See thats the problem in todays society..

kids rights are placed above the rights of adults.

The "they dont know any better" defence is old. Yes there are certain things that they may just not understand, but parents need to educate them. Dont have kids if you are that worried.

Life is full of chance.. we are lucky, we dont have to have 5-9 kids in the hopes that only 2-4 dont die of disease. Our kids dont have to worry about survival.

Most of us live a nice life style, yea we may work all the time.. but atleast we have a roof over our heads.. entertainment.. healthcare, police and fire available.

I feel for any parent who loses a child or has their child truamaitzed..

Some thoughts to ponder:
why were the parents not at the bus stop to pickup their kids?
why did they not setup a buddy system?
Why did they not put them in after school care?
Why werent they watching them at the mall?
Why are they not watching them online? Why are they not putting parental controls on their account or locking them out entirely?

My point was and still is.. if you want to protect your children or grand children, follow up with them.. train them.. watch them. But dont expect the goverment and companies to watch them for you.

Law enforcement is there to enforce the laws.. meaning react.. after all you cannot be arrested for a law you could of broken.. only for a law you have broken.
