no apologies
No apologies for those who write/read fiction about children. It is no different than writing about any other illegal activity - say high profile heists which are featured in many action movies every where in the world. It's fiction - get over it prudes.
No apologies for those whose journals were removed. You presence on the site is at the discretion of LJ. If they wanted to oust you, it should be their right. If you have a problem with that, host your own site where you have the final say on acceptable content.
No apologies for those who think the whole topic is disgusting - it's a free country and they're free to think as they want. However that freedom extendes to those who think differently and the more prudish would do well to remember that.

Obviously any posting which can be linked to actual illegal activites in the real world should be prosecuted. No apologies to those who get caught up in that web and protest about violated privacy etc.
