What does CBS want with Last.fm?

Last.FM

I don't really understand this deal as much now, with everything that's been happening with Internet radio. I wonder how long this deal has been in the works.

I use Mercora's services. They have the "M" app, which allows me to get my music wirelessly through my Treo, and my friend's. They have incredible features; truly remarkable. I prefer them over Last, many times over.
