Why do subscriptions make Apple zealots froth at the mouth?
I'm just curious why you guys (not just you, seems all Apple zealots react the same way) get so upset, angry, veins popping out at the neck whenever anyone mentions that they prefer a subscription model? So Apple will never offer one, who cares? So you prefer to buy your music, who cares? If you are a car leaser, does it make you upset that others prefer to buy? If you are a car buyer, does it anger you that some lease?

This seems to be an Apple only phenomenon: anyone whose preferences don't line up 100% with what Jobs is willing to plop onto the market is an idiot.

There are advantages and disadvantages to subscription models, I really see it as being no different than satellite radio but with much more control over the music you listen to. Are all people who pay for satellite radio idiots too? Wait, don't bother, I already know the answer to that one. Since Apple doesn't sell satellite radio subscriptions, all satellite radio subscribers are idiots.
