Are the publications using anything to hinder the crawlers?: As stated above, are any of these papers on-line aspects using anything like a robots.txt file (of which can be used to stop the indexing) or are the papers doing this out of lack of technical prowess.

Secondly, are they trying to constrain their advertisers reach to only local consumers or are they allowing/expecting their advertisers to gain from having a national/international exposure, which can lead to higher profits.; Posted by: B.O.F.H.
