If I may call you that. I shall address this in pieces.

Solaris, java, and enterprise level distributions of unix and linux ARE NOT OPEN SOURCE. I guarantee you every proprietary piece of software they've engineered is not registered under gnu public license either. And if it's on that level, those OSes are not free either, as it states in the public license if you use it for commercial purposes YOU MUST PAY FOR IT.

Mr. Gates' personal fortune is totalled at over 40 billion dollars, while Microsoft itself is worth over 294 billion. If you had any concept of how stocks work, you'd know that rumors of a buyout send stock skyrocketing.

Wouldn't surprise me, considering all of google's 'groundbreaking and innovative' web applications run on 'shock' Microsoft products (ASP.net).
