Knowingly receiving, I agree
Knowingly "Recieving stolen property for profit is illegal" (sic) - yes. Being the unwitting recipient of stolen property, maybe not. If the true owner then comes to me and says "hey, that's mine" I could have a tough time keeping it, though they'd be hard pressed to prove that I stole it.

Here, we're talking about intangible property, so I couldn't give it back, all I can do is delete the copy that I have.

I believe that YouTube has a user agreement prohibiting the upload of copyrighted materials. That being so, it's the uploader who's breaking copyright law.

You might argue that YouTube should do a better job of screening materials before they can be made available to the masses. Maybe so. I don't use the service so I don't know what, if any, fees they charge. Maybe they should increase the fees to cover this monitoring.

You also state "Doesn't matter who the actual thief was". Who said any of this stuff was stolen ? Maybe the uploader bought the materials legally. In that case, what they have done is violate the license agreement, still a crime but not a crime of theft.
