Dont' Agree
I am not renting space on my lawn so it is not the same and YES I can leave them there until a police investigation is completed.

However rental of storage units is the somewhat the same. Do you actually think the owner of a self storage business is responsible to go through each unit and make sure the person who rented it isn't storing anything illegal there?

I don't think so - and if something illegal is found in a storage unit they go after the renter not the owner.

I do agree that the "store owner" is responsible for stolen properties - however Google/MySpace is not the store owner they are the renter of the store space. On MySpace the store owner is the person who setup their account and posted content.
