This Is Insane
The notion that YouTube could possibly monitor each and every video post is ludicrous. If they're held liable for the content of their users, watch for a flood of lawsuits against other sites like MySpace, Flickr, and any other sites that allow users to post content.

We need one definitive lawsuit to settle this issue for good. It must be determined that the ones who are responsible are the ones who actually post the copyrighted content. Not the company that hosted it. Not the company that made the computer the user used to upload the video. Not the ISP. Nobody but the user himself.
