ZDNet, your personal politics have created horrible--yet typical--journalism. You describe Google's lawfirm as, and I quote, the firm "... which represented President Bush in his appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court that stopped the recount of ballots in Florida from the 2000 presidential election. That decision handed the victory to Bush instead of former Vice President Al Gore."
In reality, stopping the recount did not hand the election to anyone. There were already several LEGAL recounts, all of which had conclusive results. The legal case stopped an ILLEGAL (by Florida election law) recount.
Thus, the only point you made by editorializing about the 2000 Presidential Election in a story about alleged copyright infringement is that your personal politics take precedence over an attempt at objective reporting.
