Very useful but one major fault
I love the idea of having available a powerful search tool, mostly for use in internal projects and websites, but as a world wide search engine there is one major problem. Having it being absolutely transparent is both it's major pro, as well as it's potential downfall. Letting people see the exact requirements to be ranked well will only lead to precise SEO operations to reach all of these requirements. Thus how do you protect against spammers following the algorithms in place as perfectly as can be done?

Place limits? Place Blocks? "Validation check" algorithms?

The spammers would then instantly know these limits, blocks and checks and work around them. And then the only ones being hurt would be the honest sites.

It will be interesting to see if this takes off, and how it will do.
