We should all take responsibility

I have been using TurboTax for years, although this year, due to business and family obligations, as well as procrastination (I do admit), I found myself scrambling at 9:30PM PST, trying numerous times to file my returns electronically.

Calling people idiots for doing things last minute is not the answer, neither is not having enough server or bandwidth resources on Intuit's part.

We live in a world today where internet based service has conditioned some of us to do things from the comfort of our own homes on a last minute basis. We simply expet things to work when we click submit or order now.

In the end, I think it is the responsibility of companies to ensure they have the proper resources to handle load. There is no going back to the old days of mailing returns and competition in this area will get fierce.

I like TurboTax because the software is friendly and offers lots of advise through videos and other material. I have also used other services in the past such as the IRS website and H&RBlocks's service, but TurboTax continues to be my favorite.

Intuit, if you're listening, it is your responibility to duty to your customers to expand and acquire more resources. Your bottom line will have to suffer for a while because you have to spend more money buying server farms and pay administrators, but in the long run, you will gain more customers because of your reputation and investment.
