They were having problems Long before Tuesday.
Those that believe Intuit's claim that Tuesday was the cause of their slow response time are incorrect. Turbo Tax e-filing issues were known and problematic the weekend prior to the deadline as well. Waiting to the last minute was not the issue nor an excuse from Intuit. Between the last issue with intuit attempting to place a "copy protection" on their software that caused problems for users that they eventually backed off, again too little, too late, and now this. I'm leaning towards other products. What a shame. You can see the string of problems at this link and this is just those that actually found this site which was after an hour waiting for an online chat rep, 2 days of non-response from my email inquiry (yes, I changed my filters to accept emails from Turbo Tax), and a couple hours waiting on the phone.
