Intuit's fault?? Not completely....
I'm not a fan of Intuit by any stretch of the imagination. And, this does throw a shadow on their ability to handle tax returns. However, I have to ask the users why they feel they have to wait until the last friggin' minute to file their taxes.

Excuse if I have zero sympathy for these idiots and their filing problems. I suppose that if they leave at the last possible minute to go see a movie and get stuck in traffic and thus are late for the movie, it's the theater's fault.

The bottom line is that problems occur sometimes. If you plan everything with the idea that problems won't arise, you're a fool and you shouldn't complain when you are late.


The failure of Turbotax's electronic filing system on the most critical tax day of the year is a setback for e-filing in general and for TurboTax in particular.
