It's 'parodies', and 'are' not 'is'. Also, the fact that you say "I believe" means little in law. If you know it, or can prove it, then it is a valid point, otherwise it is opinion. These children can not be allowed to defame, and defame is what they did. If even one future employer refuses to hire this person because of this incident, then damage was done. The parent's lawsuit is without merit. By allowing their children to attend this school, they have implied, if not actually expressed, thier agreement and approval of the way in which this school was administered. Short of illegal or immoral activity, the administration's word is law. And so it was, is, and evermore shall be, detention without end. Amen. If you don't like the school, pull your kid out! That's what we did. Home schooled and sent her off to college. Now she's a teacher and has an MA. We didn't sue the school, and we probably could have, we just found the problem and applied the solution. Darn, I forgot, this is the USA; Sue first, learn a lesson later.
