Public Figure?
Ok simple question.

How is he a public figure? Was he elected to the position of principal? He may speak to cameras when asked to, but that does not make him a public figure. He was hired as a private employee of the school district to administer the daily activities of the high school. One of which is to discipline students who defame himself, other faculty, the school, or the district.

What is the difference between them writing something defaming on the walls of the school against him or on the web? Punishment is deemed necessary in both cases. It also just so happens that the information went farther than the walls of the school, so therefore so should the punishment.

I have 4 children of my own and if they even considered doing what these boys have allegedly done, then they would deserve to be sued and/or expelled from school.
