Rebirth of a bad idea
After many years of using dumb terminals and being hostage to the mainframe or remote server where programs were stored, it's liberating to be able to run programs locally. Anyone with the dream/nightmare of a web OS hasn't had the thrill of losing a connection to important programs while being pressured by a looming deadline. Web OS can't be a dream to anyone other than a Windows weenie/geek.

On the bright side, when the programs I needed--Excel, Access--weren't available, I didn't have any work to do.
