Slight variation
Let's say we're neighbors in an area with a high crime rate and YOUR daughter is gang-raped and murdered.

Now, since my home had been burglarized a couple of times I had a video camera set up to monitor my property and it caught the crime being committed, in detail.

The police have suspects in the crime, but no hard evidence to prove their case... in fact, the DA is about to drop the case for lack of evidence.

Now suppose the cops find out I had my camera recording that night and they want to view the film to help find your daughter's killers.

You honestly think I shouldn't be compelled to give the police the evidence they need to successfully prosecute the people who raped and murdered your daughter?
