it's a CRAZY idea
Personally I think it's a CRAZY idea !!!!!!!!!!
The Government should not be allowed to force anyone to testify or turn over evidence against their will.... This is not about freedom of speech its about freedom of choice and not allowing the government to force you into a possibly dangerous position. What if you had material knowledge that members in a dangerous street gang committed a crime. You also knew that if you went to the police you placed your entire family in jeopardy. It should be your choice if your are willing to take that risk. The government should never be allowed to force anyone into doing anything they feel is dangerous to themselves or their family. How would you feel if your 13 year old daughter was brutally raped and beaten because you where forced to testify. Who cares if they caught the people responsible for raping your daughter. It would not change the fact that an innocent child paid the cost of an abusive governmental practice. Sometimes the ends don't justify the means.
