It's an interesting one-way street
When you have evidence that the government demands, off you go to jail until you give it up. When the government has evidence that the people demand, it ain't so easy. We went to war (and continue in that unjust war) over the flimsiest of evidence. We were only allowed to see shadows of it, redacted, abridged, interpretted. It all turned out to be bunk anyways, and we're still having people die daily as a result. It's a one-way street.
