Ther has not been much nterest in a .xxx from the industry.
I certainly don't want to own any .xxx domains (I own a few .com, .biz and .info domains), have not hear much support for the .xxx domain in any industry sources either. This is more or a laziness thing by Americans (mostly) to isolate certain "objectionable" content that already exists under several top level country domains (.us, co.uk. .de, etc.), so why bother with a .xxx?

We don't really have a global definition of pornography yet, just regional (or country) definitions. My domains are all out of US legal jurisdiction (as in, off shore) and do abide by the various laws set forth regarding record keeping and age/access restrictions (as do many in the industry). This sort of silliness also keeps on-line casinos from doing business with US citizens (as well as restricting US casinos).

Apparently Americans are to be treated like prepubescent children or something (as least that is my read on the .xxx tld).
