Degreed people only "talk a game"?
As a 30+ year programmer that started with an Altair 8800A and used to carry a MCS48/88 Instruction Card (contained all the cpu codes and timing cycle info), I know something about where you are coming from. However, to lump us (those with business degrees) into a sad sack of non-skilled hacks, I take exception to. Sure, there are those that only know the language of business, with no skills, that is a sure bet. The same can be said of programmers. There is a group that only know about slinging code but don't have knowledge about the applications they are writing. I happen to be of a mixed breed. I write code and have a business degree (triple major undergrad in Business Admin, Management, and Marketing and an MBA with emphasis in Technology Management), which I use both on a daily basis.

To rail against any one group as unskilled, is a disservice to either side. Just as you do not have the necessary knowledge and skill to run a large business, they may not understand or have the skills necessary to program. HR has a specific body of knowledge that you do not understand. Business is usually a symbiotic relationship between different knowledge and skill bases, when taken as a whole is far more powerful than the individual parts that make it up.
