It costs a lot to find employees

Peoples always forget that personal managers are people too, with all the same petty foibles and fears. A personal manager that consistently fails to hire the right kind of people, will themselves be looking for a job. If your web presence causes doubt in the personal managers mind, they will consider their job first and take the safer route and give you the flick. Give careful consideration to not only the information you post about yourself but also the information you post about others. Big corporations love data mining (power mad freaks that they are), think your posting anonymously, think again . By the same token a solid web presence can make your career, just make sure you align you web presence to coincide with your career preferences.
