RE: Lazy Parents
It seems to be true that today parents are lazy. It could be because the government has stepped in so much that parents have simply learned to give up control becuase often those that do believe in a firm hand and knowing what their child is doing at all times are often viewed as abusive. Children are raised at babysitters & daycares and when they are old enough they are plunked in front of the TV or Computer in the false name of edutainment. Many parents want clean TV and computer so they can feel good about using these electronic babysitters. My opinion is the real world is filled with sex, drugs, and violence. Exposure leads to the questions that should be asked and honest answers, guidance and follow through, leads to awareness and good decision making when they are faced with sex, drugs, crime and violence.
