Microsoft, owner of Windows and Windows Media Player (with DRM), and NBC, with AOL, owner of Turner Broadcasting and a lot of other things, and Yahoo, who has a lot of connections with media industry....

Yeah, they give *their* content, not you giving yours. Furthemore, they wrap it in lovely DRM so you have access to it only when they want you to. No saving (unless you break the DRM, which means you violate the DMCA....). Oh, and it requires Windows Vista!
