YouTube charging?
I just joined the You Tube revolution when I bought a Wifi PC card, there is a very upfront disclaimer that is typically enough for a company to warn the mass of people uploading.
Not everyone is going to make an honest or informed decision on content type. I agree almost 100% with your opinion but feel there is the issue of artist's retaining rights to their property and some of that is the company owning releasing rights, etc. I agree that the case of compressed video streamed instead of downloaded being an issue, to sad really!
I believe with Viacom, clips of small segments from Saturday Night Live for example, were taken off You Tube. I very much wanted to see my favorite skits for example, so I am not happy
